My goal for this rebuild was to put
together a solid, daily driven street engine focusing on reliability, low end
torque, good idle, and reasonable gas mileage.
This combination gives great performance
with good street manners and 18/21 mpg as well.

chambers, 1.67 intake/1.45 exhaust
- Crane Powermax H-260-2 cam/lifters/springs.

- Comp Cams Magnum roller tip steel rockers
- 1966 4-bbl stock iron intake
- 600 cfm Edelbrock carb
- MSD 6A ignition with Blaster2 coil triggered by
a recurved points distributor
- Thorley tri-y headers, H-pipe, Borla turbos, 2
1/4" pipe
- Centerforce Gold clutch & disk
- Griffin aluminum radiator and Flex-a-lite 1300
