Friendship Trek Vacation Bible School held July 26^th through 30^th, was an exciting adventure.  We were blessed with fifty beautiful children and four terrific teen helpers.  We were thankful for over 20 adult volunteers who love children.  Together, we all shared the week learning about Jesus our Forever Friend.

 We started each day at Trailhead opening with songs and a DVD hiking skit shown on a floor to ceiling screen.  The kids then hiked to four areas with their teachers and guides including backpack snacks, Bible study, music, outside activities and fun crafts.  The closing program on Thursday was just amazing as the children shared music they really were excited about and their excitement and enthusiasm was enjoyed by all who came. 

 This week was truly an experience we won’t forget as we experienced Jesus friendship, enjoyed meeting old and new friends and learned to love and care for one another.
