Poems PageText Box: Grief

Departed Loved Ones Gone
The first year you feel all alone
I miss them awfully bad
Each day makes me sad

You flash back to good memories in a stare
It is just about all you can bare
Blame yourself when you were mean
Though justified it seems

Why should I carry on without them
It is these times you need to remember when
The dearly departed would not want that
So carry on to the next daybreak

As they say time heals all
This I truly saw
You will flash back memories now and then
You’ve just got to move on again

Each waking day gets easier
Every morning that much brighter
Then you recognize you must go on
Remembering there is a new dawn

With the Lord’s help and care
You can put your life back in repair
The grief will settle down
And help you to remove that frown

Time does make a difference
But it is the Lord’s brilliance
To lean on for comfort
And help ease the hurt

Never never forget them
That is why I write this poem
To help you and I through it
Grief may you somehow benefit

Text Box: God’s Invisible Breath

The man whispered, "God, speak to me."
And a meadowlark sang.
But the man did not hear.

So the man yelled, "God, speak to me!"
And the thunder rolled across the sky.
But the man did not listen.

The man looked around and said, "God, let me see you."
And a star shone brightly.
But the man did not notice.

And the man shouted, "God, show me a miracle!"
And a life was born.
But the man did not know.

So, the man cried out in despair.
"Touch me God, and let me know that you are here!"
Whereupon God reached down and touched the man.
But the man brushed the butterfly away and walked on.

Text Box: Good Morning
Good morning. I am God. Today I will be handling all of your problems.

Please remember that I do not need your help. If the devil happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in the SFJTD (something for Jesus to do) box. It will be addressed in MY TIME, not yours.

Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it or remove it. Holding on or removal will delay the resolution of your problem.

If it is a situation that you think you are capable of handling, please consult me in prayer to be sure that it is the proper resolution.

Because I do not sleep nor do I slumber, there is no need for you to lose any sleep. Rest my child. If you need to contact me, I am only a prayer away.

Of God we ask one favor
Of God we ask one favor, That we may be forgiven— For what, he is presumed to know— The Crime, from us, is hidden— Immured the whole of Life Within a magic Prison We reprimand the Happiness That too competes the Heaven.

Text Box: In his hands
Tragedy strikes so suddenly
Changing all our plans;
More than ever we realize
Our lives are in His hands:
Hands - so strong and mighty,
Protect us day by day,
Guarding our hearts and minds
When troubles come our way.
Hands - so warm and loving,
Strengthen and give release,
In the midst of the raging battle
There's a deep settled peace.
Hands - so comforting and caring
Undergird in our darkest hour,
Carrying us through rough waters
As we rest in sovereign power.
Father, thank You for holding us securely
In Your strong omnipotent Hands;
Help us to submit completely
To Your perfect will and plans.
