INTERESTING LINKS

Below are some links to the sites of friends, and carving and woodworking related businesses owned by people we know and have worked and associated with. These people are friends as well.

If you are looking for top quality cutting boards, Lewis Neidhardt makes them. Lewis has a shop at his home in North Little Rock. He sells his products at the river market, and on the Internet. However, if you happen into the gift shop at the Clinton Library you can also purchase one there.

Gerald and Barb live in southwest MO. They have a wide selection of caricature carvings, including cowboys, sea captains, mountain men and santas. They also sell roughouts for all of the carvings. Gerald carves and Barb paints the carvings. A member of CCA, Gerald teaches at many seminars. Billy and I will be carving with Gerald in March

Donna and Dallas Deege own the Old Texas Woodcarvers Shop in Old Spring, Texas, north of Houston. Dallas helped us start the February seminar in Uvalde. I also carve with Dallas when I get the chance. Since my oldest son, Scott, moved to the Woodlands, I can go there and stay and visit their shop. They sell carving tools and equipment, caricature carvings of cowboys, clowns and a few others. They also sell roughouts for the carvings they offer and books about carving. They have carving seminars at the shop, featuring many well know carving instructors. Dallas teaches regularly scheduled woodcarving classes.

The Diamond D Studio is owned by Len Dillon of Mountain Home, AR. Len is a friend and has been carving for a long time. Besides teaching, he sells carvings, and roughouts for caricatures, animals and realistic. He has quite a collection of products, including carved rolling pins. Len & I are members of the North Arkansas Woodcarvers club.

Ronnie Reed is one of the top carvers. He carves small and large caricatures, realistic and animals. He has an unusual collection of carvings. Ronnie also sells roughouts for his carvings. Ronnie is available for seminars and classes. His wife, Penny, does all the painting.

Jon and Barbara work out of Colorado Springs, CO. Jon carves cowboys, santas and walking sticks. I think they recently opened a shop there. Jon teaches at many seminars, and they sell carvings, carved walking sticks and roughouts as well.

Paul & Betty McLeod offer roughouts and band sawn blanks for woodcarvers, stained glass angels and a wide selection of wind chimes.
