Brockway Presbyterian Church Logo

At its heart our new logo is a cross with beams of light radiating off of it signifying that we worship the Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, who by his death on the cross freed us from death and raises us up to life eternal.

You will see that the cross and the rays of light are made out of leaves. This is to symbolize that in Christ we are made a new creation every day. The green of the leaves symbolize nature and our continuous growth in our faith and as a covenant community – this is further highlighted by the tag line “Growing in Faith”. The leaves are different shades of green signifying that while we are all equals as brothers and sisters in Christ we are also a diverse congregation open to all people regardless of age, gender or race.

Women's Bible Study-"Uninvited" - In Fellowship Hall - Thursday April 27 through Thursday June 1 at 7pm. Study Guide $8.49, optional wristlet $2.59. Sign up in the church office and pay by April 9 or contact Christine Morrison 265-0570.

A congregational Reception for Susan and Christopher will be held on Sunday June 11, 2017.

I am inviting myself over Rev McCloskey would like to have a visit with as many congregants as possible over the next few weeks. There is a NEW sign up sheet in the office for the month of February if you would like to have Christopher and Susan over for dinner.

Per Capita Tax for 2017: $29.58

Flower sign-up sheet for 2017 is now available in the church office. Price is still $30 per week. Please remember that you are asked to please take the flowers when you have placed them in the sanctuary.

Sign up in the Narthex if you are able to be a greeter or usher.

The Pantry is in need of cream of mushroom soups. Please place your donations in the box outside the office.

Kids' Movie Night has become very popular since its inception. Some help is needed - providing snacks for the monthly meetings and also there is a Longterm Wish List in the church office along with a jar for monetary donations to help fill the Wish List. If you would like to help provide snacks, provide items on the Wish List, or make a monetary donation, please stop by the church office to sign up or make your donation.

Winter coats, gloves, hats, boots are being collected for distribution in mid-to-late October. These will be offered at the First Methodist Church in DuBois. Please place items in the donation room.
