2015 Church Calendar

GET YOUR GREEN ON! On Sunday, Mar. 15 there will be a Pot Luck Dinner and "White Elephant" Sale/ Auction for our Congregation in the fellowship hall following morning worship. You are asked to bring a food item to share (beverages, dessert and table service will be provided) and one or two "white elephant" items to be sold at auction.
Wrap these "white elephant" gifts - using anything for wrapping paper, don't put your name on the package and don't tell what is inside - these packages will be auctioned off - without being opened.

Easter Meal Project:

Again this year, with other churches in our community, we are accepting monetary donations to help purchase Easter Dinners for those families served by the Helping Hand Food Pantry. There are currently 125 families served by the Food Pantry. Arrangements have been made to provide them with a gift certificate from Martino’s. If you are able to make a donation please indicate that it is for Easter Dinners. Please make your donation on or before Feb. 22.

Sat, Mar 21 "Unwrap the Bible"

The focus is on teaching from the Bible, with time for diving deeply into selected passages to discover the heart of the meaning. Most who come to "Unwrap the Bible", have an interest in Bible study though the approach also makes the content accessible and welcoming for the woman who may be opening her Bible for the first time.
The Gospel message is shared at all Women of Faith events; however, in 2014 more than 800 women made first time decisions to put their hope and trust in Jesus Christ at "Unwrap the Bible".

The 2015 Flower Sign UP sheet is now available in the churchoffice. At this time the price remains $30.00

Sign up in the narthex if you are able to be a greeter or usher.

Thank you to everyone who donated clothing. We will continue to collect as this is an ongoing mission. The Free Close Closet appreceatesthis very much. Wendy Smith.

The Pantry greatly appreciates your donations of many cans of soup or baking a cake for our Wednesday meals program.
