Quilts and Quilt Blocks
(Click on the pictures for larger views.)
Long Time Coming
- Machine-pieced and machine-quilted, designed using methods
from Beth Donaldson's book,"Block by Block." This quilt was
started in 1996, put aside for many other projects, and finally
finished on Thanksgiving Day, 2004. It wasn't made with this
waterbed in mind, but that's where it will be for now!

My first quilt after discovering
the quilting forum on the now defunct online service called NVN.
It is called Christmas Traditions,
designed by Wendy Gilbert, from a Quilt in a Day publication.

This Ribbon Star 24" wallhanging was made for the
Georgia Olympic Quilters' gift to Nagano. The Japanese quilters
made kimono-shaped quilts to present at the Nagano Olympics, and
the Georgia quilters made individual wallhangings for these quilters
to show our thanks for continuing the tradition.

The newsgroup RCTQ (recreation.crafts.textiles.quilting)
has a Block of the Month project. I've been doing a pieced block
and a foundation paper-pieced block each month since April,
2006. Most of the blocks were chosen from free patterns available
on Marcia
Hohn's Quilter's Cache.
Several paper-pieced blocks and projects have
been made since I joined the Carol Doak Yahoo group.
