The GCHS Class of 1981 Twenty-year reunion was held on Saturday, August 11, 2001 in the Breckinridge/Grayson rooms of the Rough River State Park Lodge with approximately 100 alumni and guests in attendance. 

The reunion will began with a reception at 6:30pm followed by dinner at 7:30 and dancing/socializing from 8:30 to nearly 1 AM!. The delicious meal was served by the catering staff of Rough River State Park and included salad, chicken, ham and roast beef, vegetables, desserts and beverages. 

Our reunion was planned to be an event for adults only and everyone seemed to have a great time.  

Paul Witten of Quality Photographic Images (QPI) took a group photo and can be purchased at QPI in Leitchfield for $5.

The awards were given for the following: 

Traveled Farthest : Darlene Cockriel Higdon from Arizona, Followed by Keith Etter who came in from Austin, Texas.  The gift was something she cannot get all the way out west!

Most Kids: Tim and Darlene Cockriel Higdon: 6

Married the Longest: Darrel and Georgia Lindsey Decker 20 years in July Followed by Ted and Mylissa Torrance 20 years September.

Changed the Most: Dennis Strasburger.

Changed the Least: Melanie Alvey (all in a good way Mel!)
