In 2002 Ron taught the kids class and often taught the adult class at the Red Dragon kwoon. Ron was sent, along with his sihings Onjai Pang and Lawrence Williams, to represent the Red Dragon Kung Fu Academy in competitions and many other Chinese ceremonies from Atlanta to Baltimore.
In 2003 Ron became a student of Sifu Mike Biggie from Akron, Ohio. In 2004 he was authorized to teach 7 Star Preying Mantis Boxing under Sifu Biggie and continues training under his tutelage as a ninth generation successor of 7 star preying mantis. Sifu Biggie has over 30 years of experience in 7 star mantis boxing and is an expert at Chinese herbs.
