Welcome to Dry Creek Longhorns

Brad and Robin Hancock are glad you dropped by! We are a cattle ranch located in the Hill Country Region of the great state of Texas. We breed and show registered Texas Longhorn Cattle. All of our breeding cattle are registered with the the International Texas Longhorn Association (ITLA). We usually have cattle available for private treaty sale, but if we don't, we can usually direct you to fellow breeders that will be able to provide you with quality, registered cattle at reasonable prices. If you are interested in owning a piece of history, we recommend owning a Texas Longhorn. Like the famous auctioneer Colonel Eddie Wood is fond of saying "a steer like that in your front pasture will stop more traffic than a dead man"!

Our ranch is located just outside of Walnut Springs, Texas. Give us a call and then drop by if you are in the area. We still believe in the tradition of hospitality. If you are just passing by on the internet, you can still "cybernetically" drop in on our herd or our Riding Steers. Want to own a piece of history? Give us a shout and we can hook you up, and while you're at it, check out the newly updated Sale Pen! We are weaning calves year round, so check back often if you are looking for a younger Longhorn to add to your herd.
