The Church of San Salvatore
In the history section of this web page contains "a' history of the Church built in 1700. It contains a list of the priests. Upon close review many of the names of the priest look very familiar.
The Church is the principal building in Cantalupo.

More of the ceiling.
Prior to one of the remodels of the Church, several of the walls had marble sections engraved with the names of donors tao the Festival of S. Anna. Imagine a $5.00 donation included your name... what would that cost today. It is a shame these were removed from the Church.
The steeple. The clock was installed by Ferdinando Barbieri, son of Giovanni Barbieri who was born in Bolzone (now part of Riplata Cremasca sout east of Milano. Ferdinano felll during the instalation clock, and always waked with a cane. All Barbieris in Cantalupo are deceendants of Giovanni. Ferdinanco's son Elviro helped him intstall the cross on the steple.
