Our family is myself, my wife, 3 daughters (2 are married with kids of their own), our dog Scooter , A Peek-A-Poo type of mix, a small and very lovable little guy and Sophie, a very passive lab type mix of some sort that we got at the pound.
My wife grows lots of flowers, Impatiens, Begonias,and Geraniums. She also has a small rose garden and a couple of perennial beds. She uses the entire enclosed porch all winter for the Geraniums and Begonias. She has some Geraniums that are 3 feet tall she has kept going for 5 or 6 years now. She also starts cuttings every fall so she has lots of new ones in the spring.
Snowmobiling; At least I like it. My wife will go out for a short ride now and then. I really enjoy trail grooming. The club has been very active in improving the groomer fleet over last few years.
Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Club
Outdoor activities; I fish a little. I have a Ruger Model 77 Varmint Weight bolt action in 220 Swift. It is a real good shooter so I am trying to get good enough at shooting to justify such a gun. I help a few local farms cut down on their woodchucks in the summer. I also Deer hunt in the fall. Currently usnig a Thompson Center Encore handgun in 7MM-08. It's quite a boomer, and does the job quite well. I have been using it for woodchuck hunting some this summer and do pretty well out to 125 yards so I think I'll have no problem being successful at deer hunting.
