Brinkley Babb - Missouri Harris Babb Family

Brinkley Babb (parents William Babb and Martha "Patsey" Yates) was born Abt 1817 in North Carolina.
He married Missouri Ann Harris in Hancock County, Ga, daughter of Samuel Harris of Hancock County.
Brinkly drew gold land Lot No. 323, District 1, of Section 3, Cherokee Co. which later became souhwest Cobb County.
He was one of the trustees of the Black Spring Academy incorporated in the winter of 1860. The Academy was next to Black Springs Baptist Church old location. He was a member of the Baldwin County Grand Jury Feb. 1863, Oct. 1865, Spring 1866, August 1869.
He died suddenly, at the age of 64on 24 Oct 1871 in Baldwin County, Georgia. His wife, Missouri Harris Babb, born 9 Nov 1834, died Aug 1885 in Baldwin County, GA.

4. Elmira Antoinette "Nettie" Babb was born 14 Aug 1846 in Baldwin County, Georgia. She died 17 Sep 1929 in Baldwin Co., Georgia. She married Samuel R. Collins on 8 Feb 1866 in Baldwin County, GA.
