Editing this issue was a delight. Reading the imaginative and
well-wrought work, I was impressed and gratified. I had hoped for an
issue with a diversity of voice and vision, collected on the thread of
intense lyricism. I got that and much more. I hope you will enjoy
reading the work in this issue as much as I did. California artist
Mira M. White’s cover painting, "Our Journey," symbolizes for me the
diverse interior landscapes in these works, and how the world within
and the world without reflect and touch through art, illuminating both.
