The Export Volunteer Fire Department
was established in 1912. The department serves the one square
mile of Export Borough and multiple surrounding communities, as well as
any communities they are called to respond to. The department has
over 50 Active, Social and Life Members. The department
has two engines and a salvage unit.
The Fire Station is located on
Washington Avenue in Export. The Department Social Hall is located
at the former Export American Legion Building on Kennedy Avenue just down
the road from the fire station.
