Engine 22-1 is a 1994 KME Renegade 1500 GPM Heavy Pumper, 1000 Poly-Water Tank

Salvage 22 is 2005 Ford F-550 chassis with a custom Sabre box. 

This is a multi-functional unit.  This responds behind Engine 22-1 for all alarms, unless requested first.    This unit services Westmoreland and Allegheny Counties, and will respond wherever needed.    This unit also responds first to Medical assists in the borough.

Partial Equipment listing includes:  Full BLS Medical Equipment with Lifepak 500 AED and Oxygen.  Multiple portable pumps, On-Board Water Vac unit with 200 feet of hose and holding tank, large amount of portable power and hand tools, salvage tarps, stokes basket,  onboard electric generator with scene lighting, Bullard Thermal Imaging Camera, multiple sizes of plywood, pneumatic nail gun,  air compressor, and A-Frame Ladder...    This is only a partial listing.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION...   SALVAGE & UTILITY TRAILER

Thanks to the 2009 State Grant, the Export V.F.D. has purchased a Haulin` Ultimate 7X14 cargo trailer.  Future plans for this trailer include the expansion of our salvage capabilities and to reduce the amount of equipment carried on our Salvage unit.    This will allow more space on our Salvage unit for additional firefighting equipment.    Check back to the website for progress updates.
