Pastor’s Study
Since you were brilliant enough to discover our little web page, you must be interested in finding interesting and thought-provoking material on the internet. I would like to share with you some of the things that I enjoy reading and researching that you can find online.

My Alma Mater, Faith Baptist Bible College, publishes regular articles in the “Faith Pulpit.” You can read these articles online at http://faith.edu/seminary/faithpulpit.php
Central Baptist Seminary has some very good articles written from a Fundamental Baptist perspective. Many of them are written by their President, Dr. Kevin Bauder. He addresses a variety of Biblical topics as well as controversial topics like music, theater, and movies. You can find a list of the various articles at their website: http://centralseminary.edu/resources/nick-of-time
Personally, I think blogs are over-rated. However, there is an interesting blog hosted by World Magazine. World is a publication that discusses news and current events from a Christian perspective. It is broadly evangelical, so you may not agree with everything. However, it is good to keep current. They update regularly and have the latest news and commentary. You can read the current posting at their website: http://www.worldontheweb.com/cat/worldmagblog
Ken Ham, from Answers in Genesis, also has an excellent website with some great articles and research materials from a Creationist perspective. You can find his latest material (including his blog) at the Answers in Genesis website: http://www.answersingenesis.org
I also enjoy reading articles from Cal Thomas. He writes for the Jewish World Review, and he comments on politics. Although his comments are political, his views come from an evangelical Christian perspective. You can read his articles at http://www.jewishworldreview.com
I will try to share with you other resources that I discover in the future. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to send them to me at fbc@windstream.net. |
