At the last Session Meeting, your session heard a presentation on becoming a “Safe Haven” congregation for our community and voted unanimously to begin participating in this community service ministry. Dawn Ludwig will share with us the work of the “Safe Haven” program this Sunday, September 9th.
If you are a teacher in the Barrow County School system and know a child/student who needs help with the purchase of school supplies, confidential help is available. Please contact any elder or call the church office.
The Ladies Wednesday Morning Bible Study will be held this Wednesday, Sept. 12th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. All ladies are invited to attend!
The Presbyterian Women’s Meeting will resume on Monday, September 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the home of Pat Russell (436 Monroe Hwy., Winder). There will be directions on the Narthex table or meet at the church at 9:45 a.m. for a ride. We will discuss 1 John 1 (pg. 15). All ladies are welcome to attend.
A new Adult Sunday School class is scheduled to begin this Sunday, September 9th at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Rev. Stan Sizemore (a retired Presbyterian minister) will be leading the class during the Fall quarter.
