The PYF Youth Group will meet today at 5:00 p.m. at the church. Bring a friend!
This week, the Wacky Wednesday’s kids group will meet at the home of the Webster’s this Wednesday, August 6th at 5:30 p.m. for an end of the summer “Pool Party”!. Supper will be pro- vided. Bring your swimsuit and a towel. Maps are available on the Narthex table. R.S.V.P. to Suzi Webster (suziwebster@windstream.net) or Lynn Wilson (lynnluther1979@windstream.net) or the church office.
The PYF will be having a “Youth Lock-In” this Friday, August 8th at 6:00 p.m. here at the church. Bring your sleeping bag and pillow. We will be baking items for the “Bake Sale” we will
be having this Saturday (Aug. 9th from 9 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.). The proceeds from this bake sale will be used to purchase much needed school supplies for elementary age school children in Barrow
County who are in need. Donations of baked goods or items (butter, flour, etc.) for baking cookies, cakes, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
The next Ladies Craft Morning will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 13th at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a project that you are working on or just come for the fellowship.
A “Leadership Event” will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Atlanta on Saturday, August 16th from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Morning and afternoon seminars will be held on various topics. This year’s theme is: “Growing in Faith: Spiritual Practices and Education.” Cost is $20 and includes lunch. Registration must be made by August 5th through the church office. More information is available on the Narthex bulletin board.
