Still good picking.    Get the berries while you can.    Our last day will be Saturday, Aug. 8th.

Reminder of picking times:

Mon. - Fri. 7:30 AM – 1 PM start again at 6 PM and go til dark.

Saturday starts at 7:30 AM and goes til dark.

Closed Sunday

Notes:

-If you have an overflow garden and would like to sell the produce out of the back of your trunk, let me know. I will set aside a special parking area in the shade for you. You will be totally on your own to bring bags, change, etc. I am only providing the crowd to sell it to.

-Remember that it is not a good idea  to wear sandals in the field.

-We are renting a porta-john this year. It will be located behind the old barn.

-Bill has built a nice drinking fountain “complex” with two fountains – one for adults and one for kids. There is also a wash basin available at that point. It is located where the old fountain was. There is also a new fountain up in the field.

-We have built a new cashout table and bought a second  scale. We can now check you out twice as fast on a busy day.

-Some folks bring used grocery bags for us to recycle. While we appreciate the idea, we have to be careful to use fresh bags. We don’t know what was in your bags or if they have holes and don’t have time to check. HOWEVER, if you want to bring bags to use for yourself, feel free to do so and let us know when you pick up your buckets at the table.

-We have bought 200 more buckets.
