WBCCI Civil War Caravan at the Road

The 20 RVs and trailers stayed with Jim and Shirley Gay at the Road House RV Park off the intersection of Highways 26 and 224 east of Montezuma. On Saturday, had a full day in Andersonville with reenactments, museum visits, dinner at the Methodist Church, and a candlelight tour of the Prison site. Some visited Plains on Sunday before enjoying Brunswick Stew at the campground. On Monday, they will tour the National Civil War Naval Museum in Columbus, GA. They are arrived here from Savannah, GA and will depart to Acworth, GA. They will visit sites in Atlanta, Chickamauga and Murfreesboro, TN before closing on April 1. This is Part 2 in the three part Civil War Caravan series conducted by the Airstream owners organization.
