The swine flu surge in Texas may already be happening.

The Texas Department of State Health Services flu case counts for the  first week in September (they're posted a week behind) show a second consecutive steep increase in cases showing up in doctors' offices. Last year, we didn't get to this number of flu cases until Christmas. If the trend continues, it means the surge is happening around us now...time for planning is over...it's time for action.
