Elizabeth Catherine Brown

Mom's maternal grandmother, "Granny Pridemore", at age 83. Born January 1, 1847 Died November 6, 1936 in Corbin, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Brown and Esther Johnson Gibson. She married Joseph Andrew Johnson 7 Jul 1866. He was born in Bean Station,TN, and died 6 Apr 1869. She then married Chadwell Brittain Pridemore 5 Mar 1871, son of George W Pridemore and Mary Ball. He was born 26 Dec 1847, and died 26 Dec 1912.

i. Martha Ann Pridemore, b. 5 May 1872 d. 4 Feb 1913 in Middlesboro, KY. m. George VanBeber 12 Sep 1894, son of Robert VanBeber and Margaret Jane Susong. He was born 11 Dec 1870 in Yellow Creek,Bell,Ky, and died 1 Dec 1950 in Middlesboro,Bell,Ky.

ii. Mary Louise Pridemore was born 6 Apr 1874, and died 23 Aug 1915 in Middlesboro,KY. She married George Madison Thompson.

iii. Minnie Denise Pridemore was born 16 Feb 1882 in Gibson Station, VA. She married Embry Lanier McKeehan 26 Sep 1905. He was born 28 Dec 1883.
