I found a diary that Evora had and she wrote on it that it was grandmothers diary when growing up in England.  It is kinda hard to read. There is a picture of her grandmother and grandfather. Will keep it handy when you come.

William Reynolds Jr. and his sister Matilda Jane Reynolds Spencer, both originally from Chelsea, England. William Reynolds Jr. lived in Tyrrell County and became a Primitive Baptist Preacher, while Matilda Jane Reynolds Spencer lived near Roper in Washington County and ran a local store.

William Reynolds, Jr and his sister Matilda Jane Reynolds Spencer. Both were orignially from Chelsea, England and immigrated to Tyrrell County in the 1830's. William was a preacher at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church for 20 years and Maltilda Jane married Nathan Spencer and moved to Washington County where she ran a local store.
