Hi Friends,

I’m delighted to report that recently, Steeple Hill Books got truly desperate and said yes to my first romantic suspense novel for their Love Inspired Suspense line. J  It’s called MARKED FOR MURDER, and takes place in a small Pennsylvania community plagued by a serial killer who targets young blond women.  Acting Chief of Police Margo McBride has her hands full investigating the murders while trying to keep a lid on her feelings for P.I. Cole Blackburn.  Margo’s ex-fiancé is back in town and determined to assist with the murder case that tore his life apart a year ago. MARKED FOR MURDER hits bookstores in July 2010.

Happily, the folks at Woman's World Magazine were also pressed to the wall for fiction recently. J  My Solve it Yourself Mystery, “Whoops! She Did it Again,” will appear in Issue #10, due out February 25th!

In other news, I'm crossing my toes that my cozy mystery series soon finds a home.  The Schnitzel Haus series is set in rural, rustic Pennsylvania where the citizens are all just a little off...and generally present problems for my protagonist, Caitlin Cross, a middle aged ex-runway model turned Bavarian restaurateur.  When the local witch is accused of killing the elk-infested town's mailman--and the local police chief refuses to look further for the killer--Cait comes to Hester Brimwell's rescue.  It's not going to be easy, though. Grumpy, spell-casting Hester claims she did it.

In old news...My most recent romantic suspense novel, JUST A WHISPER AWAY, is still available at several online bookstores, and Danny Long, the book's antagonist, has been voted to Harlequin/Silhouette's Top Ten Despicable Villains list.  Love it! J

What’s the book about?  Well…

Fourteen years ago, Abbie Winslow and Jace Rogan were young lovers, but the brief relationship between the pampered princess and the son of the town tramp ended bitterly. Now L.A. lawyer Abbie is back in her Pennsylvania hometown, running from a deranged ex-client who wants her dead--and he's leaving a trail of bodies behind as he crosses the country to get to her.
