Re-elect Larry D. Brown City Commissioner Re-elect Larry D. Brown City Commissioner

Dear Voters of Ashland,

I have been your City Commissioner for the past seven years and am now a candidate for re-election to the Ashland City Commission in the November general election. I would like to tell you a little about myself. I have been employed by American Electric Power for the past 39 years. My wife of 40 years, Leona, is a registered nurse and works for King’s Daughters Medical Center. Our daughter Robin is a math teacher at Boyd County High School and married to David Irvine, employed by American Electric Power. Our eleven year old granddaughter, Hannah, is our pride and joy! I have been elected four terms to the Ashland City Commission. I was elected to represent our community for three terms to the Ashland Board of Education, and served as a past Board Member and Trustee for the Kentucky School Board Association of Kentucky. I am presently a Board Member of the Ashland Housing Authority, and also serve on the Board of Directors of the Salvation Army. In 1999 I was a graduate of Leadership Tri-State. Leona and I are members of Pollard Baptist Church.

My VISION for the City of Ashland is to promote our city as a clean, safe community to live, work and raise your families.

In the interest of Ashland’s proud past and bright future, I sincerely appreciate your vote and support! If you would like to support my campaign or talk with me, please let me know. You can call me at (606) 329-1950.

Yours truly,

Larry D. Brown
