Our volunteers made grant
application to the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance and was awarded
$4,000 to purchase a power pallet jack.
As soon as we received the notification, the jack was ordered. It was delivered and uncrated the evening before it was used to unload one full semi load and another partial load on a second truck of USDA commodity foods from Little Rock.
We also received notification in April that we had been awarded a grant from Arkansas Community Foundation of Carroll County to assist with the purchase of school supplies and back packs for August, 2010. |

January 23, 2010 we received 1,700 pounds of meat from Tyson Foods at the "Lift Up America" benefit sponsored by Tyson Foods and Razorback athletes. We appreciate the business partnerships to serve our community. Thank you, Tysons and Arkansas Razorback athletes!
