Loaves and Fishes Food Bank keeps statistical records on the services we provide. We distribute the commodities according to United States Department of Agriculture and the Office of Human Concern guidelines.
Over the course of the 2013 there were 1,717 different Carroll County, Arkansas households sought food. Households may seek assistance once each month, but the average number of visits household was 4.6 in 2011. Few (9%) of our client base seek food 11 times a year or more; 61% come 4 times a year or less.
In 2012 we also distributed for Project Self-Esteem 510 new backpacks filled with school supplies to clients' school children the month school began.

We
are able to receive salvage food through the "Feeding America" national program
through our regional food bank, Northwest Arkansas Food Bank in Bethel Heights,
AR. They oversee us receiving salvage 3 times per week from our local
Wal-Mart Super Center.
