2012 Installation of Officers

East Lincoln Masonic Lodge No. 210 will install its new officers for the 2012 Masonic year on January 19th, 2012 in Lincoln, Nebraska Kevin Pratt was installed Master for the coming year of East Lincoln Lodge No. 210 of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Lincoln, Nebraska on January 19th, 2012 in Lincoln Nebraska. The installing officer was WBRobert Pratt. He was assisted by: B. John Butler as installing chaplain, WB James Michaelson as installing marshal, and WB Tom Michaelson as installing secretary. About 60 attended the installation and reception that followe. Other officers installed wereGaren Miller, senior warden; Anthony Young, junior warden; Scott Dodge, secretary; Tom Michaelson, chaplain; James Michaelson, senior deacon; Bill Hayes, junior deacon; Scott Dietrick, senior steward; Lonnie Kastrup, junior steward; Ken Jackson; marshal; Chuck Godwin, organist; and Monte Dietrick, Tyler. East Lincoln Lodge meets monthly on the first Thursday at 7:30 PM at 2700 S Street. It was chartered in 1892, and has 250 members. There are more than 13,000 members in about 125 communities in the state. Freemasonry has nearly two million members in the U.S. Masonic lodges across Nebraska support local youth and community projects and humanitarian efforts including a statewide blood drive, child identification program and scholarships. Freemasonry, a benevolent, educational and charitable organization, provides $2 million a day in charity through its lodges and appendant bodies. The Grand Lodge helps to maintain two homes: The Masonic Home at Plattsmouth for Masons and their female relatives, and the Masonic-Eastern Star Home for Children in Fremont. Masonry is the oldest and largest fraternal organization in the world and is based on the lessons of living a life of brotherhood and high moral standards as portrayed symbolically in the work of stone masons who built the cathedrals, abbeys and castles of Europe.
