special exhibit to see them.
May 4, 2008: We have received a new
shipment of our popular puzzle lights. These come in white, single
colors, and multi-colors. They are available in round or oval shapes.

Mondays, but we usually close later.
March 16, 2008: We have returned from a
very successful buying trip to Mexico. We have brought many new items
to the gallery, but many have not yet arrived. We will be featuring
these in a special Mexican exhibit in June. Details will be announced
soon.

We have increased our hours somewhat for the spring.
January 10, 2008: We have reduced our

The owner of the gallery is leaving today for a month long buying trip
to Mexico! We will be visiting Oaxaca for alebrijas and ornamental tin,
Puebla for Talavera ceramics, Taxco for silver, San Miguel for mirrors,
Tonala for lamps and ceramics, and other places. Be sure to check back
in the middle of February to see what we got.
December 11, 2007: We have just returned
from a trip to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. This wasn't a
buying trip, but we did bring back a few things for the gallery: cute
piggy banks made out of coconuts, jewelry, and few miscellaneous items.
This is the first time we've carried anything from Puerto Rico.
November 26, 2007: We are now open on
Sundays for Christmas.
November 21, 2007: We have received a
shipment from Guatemala with many new and unique items: Alpca hats with
ear flaps ("chullos"), gloves, scarves, wrap around sweater shawls with
designs, new beaded jewelry designs, crochetted purses, etc., etc.
November 16, 2007: Our Fritz Millevoix
exhibit is officially over, but we still have most of his paintings at
the gallery. Click here to
visit our Fritz Millevoix exhibit page which has many photos of his
paintings.
November 4, 2007: We have received a
large shipment of nichos from Mexico. These are hand-painted boxes made
of metal with a glass front. They come in various shapes and sizes and
are meant to be hung on a wall. Most have a humorous, Day of the Dead
and/or religious theme. Click here for more
information and pictures.
November 2, 2007: There is an article
about us in today's Plain Dealer Friday section. Click
here to read it.
October 18, 2007: We have changed our
internet provider. So far this hasn't seemed to cause any problems, but
our email address galeriaquetzal@adelphia.net will soon disappear. Be
sure to use info@galeriaquetzal instead.

Mondays for the foreseeable future. We have brought out the cold
weather clothing: sweaters, scarves, shawls and our wonderul Peruvian capes.

special exhibit of Haitian fantasy artist Fritz Millevoix. See above.
This is a Cleveland premier that you won't want to miss.
August 21, 2007: Sadly, we say goodbye to
our artistic director Amanda, who has returned to school. Hopefully she
will be able to help us out occasionally. Until we are able to hire
someone else, we will be closed on Mondays.
June 17, 2007: We have completely
redecorated the gallery. Come in and see our many new items. We have
lengthened our hours for the summer.
May 8, 2007: We have just obtained
several items from Haiti. Paintings by Fritz Millevoix (see above),
