It is the purpose of
the London Community Church to heed the great commission of Jesus given
to his disciples on the Mt. of Olives. "Go and make disciples
of all nations... teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you." -- Matthew 28:19,20
We believe that God wants us to reach out in fellowship to the un-churched of our area on Sinking Creek and in the surrounding communities. We seek to provide godly training to persons of all ages. We have a special ministry for the children and youth of our church and community. We believe that God calls some of us to stay in this area ministering in our community and that He calls others to minister in our State, Nation and around the world. It is our plan to support those whom God has called with our prayers and our finances. Our church supports these missionaries: Robert and Suzanne Gray and their 3 young children in Puebla, Mexico. Bob teaches Bible and Theology in the Bible Institute. Michael and Shirley Pounds in Oakland and San Francisco, California. They are administrators in Street Mission Work, working with alcoholics, drug addicts, and in youth ministries. Dennis and Priscilla Probst in Tokyo, Japan. Dennis teaches in the Emmanuel Bible College and teaches English to interested students on University campuses. Priscilla teaches a women's Cooking/Bible Class. |
