It would be difficult to pick out any one member who contributed more to this campout, every member attending was involved and much work had gone into this before the arrived here as evidenced by the number of items in the Chinese auction, the Raffle and the door prizes. This is the first time I can remember when we felt we had too many gifts.

There were not many planned activities but most everyone stayed busy shopping, playing games and just having a good time of fellowship. We did have one organized game, the place Bean Bag toss and this was won by Ann Marcum and Vivian Bankston,

Second place went to Vi Semanek and Peggy Beaty.                  .

Bill & Ann Marcum played and sang for the group on Tuesday evening and this was enjoyed by all. We all ate well the complete time we were here as coffee & donuts were served each morning and we had an old fashioned ice cream social on Wednesday afternoon a  delicious catered bar-b-que dinner on Thursday evening..

Every family received a door prize and many won prizes through the Chinese auction or the raffle. We had several birdhouses that were made by one of our members and we decided to auction these off, Oyd acted as auctioneer and this was a big event and lots of fun.

Our entertainment was done by Ramona Parker, a retired Bellsouth employee and daughter of Vivian Bankston. She did and outstanding job and all enjoyed the program of Gospel music. Ramona’s daughter also did several songs with her.

Tennessee pre-registered 24 units so we look forward to having another great Rally in June 2008.

All guest departed for home and other points on Friday morning and after a period of cleaning up and overview of the weeks events the Magnolia bells departed for home, we hope to see many of you in Tennessee in 2008.

12 Table Decorations were given to 12 Lucky persons in a drawing after our dinner meal.
