The Public Safety Bass Club mails out newsletters to all it's members monthly. All members want to see the club standings, and articles of interest. We notify members of up-coming events, and events that reflect on the club members.
The last meeting was held October 13th at the Golden Corral Restaurant. Present were Curtis, Rick, Bob, Rusty, Mickey, Danny, Bob Schlag and David Harvill.
Our cabins for Elijah Clark are ready for our tournament.
Curtis handed out the plate for our last tournament on Lake Sinclair. Mickey Cheramie had 5 fish weighing 10.59 pounds for first place and 3.5 pounds for big fish. Second place went to Rick Watson with 5 fish weighing 7.31 pounds. They won the 17 pound pot of $500.00, and the big fish award. Third place went to Bob Schneider with 5 fish weighing 5.66 pounds.
President Rick Watson asked for nominations for officers for next year. A motion by Rusty Wagner was made to keep the same officers for the new year. Seconded by Curtis Watson. A vote will be made at our next meeting.
Our November tournament is on Lake Jackson and we will launch out of Berrys Landing. >p> Rick will make the arrangements for our banquet at Golden Corral Restaurant for December 19th.

Our hawg pot is $500.00 and the 17-26 pot is $50.00.

Danny Roberts took first place with 8 fish weighing 7.33 pounds. Second place went to Rick Watson with 4 fish weighing 5.65 pounds and big fish of 1.97 pounds. Third place went to Curtis Watson with 3 fish weighing 4.10 pounds. The weather was another cold front pushing through. Saturday was not too bad but Sunday it got colder and windy. The bite was very hard to get. One of our usual weather day tournaments. Congratulations to All for a safe tournament!!!
Our next meeting will be November 10th at Golden Corral Restaurant. Hopefully we will have a couple of new members applying.
Our next club tournament will be at Lake Jackson on November 14th.
Our club banquet will be on December 19th at the Golden Corral Restaurant. We will order Rib eye steaks. Everything else will
come from the buffet.
