Until the fall of 2010, it was thought that the Full Band type l jacket (l', or l prime) was only present on the Fall 1965
first printings (5 titles comprising Genet/Our Lady of Flowers, Mann/Confessions of Felix Krull Confidence Man, Tolstoy/Short Stories V2,
Michelangelo/Complete Poems and Selected Letters, and Bellow/Adventures of Augie March). However, a reprint of Maugham/Best Short Stories in an l' jacket
has been discovered (see below).
Interestingly, the list on the inside of the jacket indicates a Fall 1964 printing (no number listed, includes Dewey, John Dewey on Education and
does not include Capote, Selected Writings); however the list at the back of the book (which was enclosed within the jacket) indicates a Fall 1965
printing (includes Mann, Confessions of Felix Krull and does not include Mann, Doctor Faustus).

For background information on this see the Quick Guide to Regular Dust Jacket Backs 1917-1970 (scroll down to the l' jacket)
and the Modern Library Mailing List discussion on the l' topic.
