For over 20 years, B-LOC has been committed to providing high quality
keyless locking devices to customers worldwide. Units are available in a
variety of styles and sizes (3/8" up to 40" and larger) to suit any application. B-LOC also has the capability to design and produce special
units, even for small quantity production runs.

Our engineers would be pleased to provide free design assistance for any kind of equipment

LOCKING ASSEMBLY SERIES B400

(Series 2005 outside the U.S. and Canada)

  • Self-releasing tapers permit hub removal or adjustment by simply relaxing the screw torque.
  • Double taper design assures a fixed hub position during installation.
  • Locking assemblies provide torque, bending, axial, and radial load capacities.
  • Locking assembly connections do not require additional axial hub retaining parts.

LOCKING ASSEMBLY SERIES

 B106         &            B103

  • Shallow taper design provides efficient conversion of locking screw clamp loads into radial contact pressures.
  • Self-locking taper assures transmission of substantial bending moments without imposing dynamic loads on locking screws. Push-off threads assure positive dismounting even after years of service.
  • Single, shallow taper provides for exceptionally concentric fits without the need for pre-centering hub sections, allowing for simple and economical designs with straight bored and narrow hubs.
  • Increased face flange of series B106 eliminates axial hub movement during installation, common for other single taper locking devices.

 LOCKING ASSEMBLY
SERIES B800
(Series 5061 outside the U.S. and Canada)

  • Extra-wide, thin sleeves provide lower contact pressures allowing for smaller hub outside diameter.
  • Single, extra wide taper provides for exceptionally concentric fits without the need for pre-centering hub sections.
  • Integral spacer sleeve eliminates axial hub movement during installation, common for other single taper locking devices.

LOCKING ASSEMBLY SERIES B115, B112 & B113
Medium, heavy, and extra-heavy duty locking assemblies

  • Transmit high torque and bending moments with a single unit on shaft diameters that can be considerably smaller than required for conventional connections.
  • Provide for extremely concentric fits with straight-bored hubs.
  • Enhances reversing bending moment capacity for applications such as conveyor pulleys by use of self-locking tapers to eliminate dynamic screw loading associated with devices using self-releasing tapers.
  • Assure positive release of connection by providing sufficient number of push-off threads fitting integral locking screws.
  • Reduce setting of connection by shaft polishing and "work hardening" effect from sliding of thrust collars on shaft during installation of locking assembly.

LOCKING ELEMENTS SERIES B500
(Series 3003 outside the U.S. and Canada)

  • Single taper locking elements offer customized connections to suit a wide range of configurations and capacities.
  • Self-releasing tapers assure positive release of assembly by simply relaxing screws.

SHRINK DISCS
Light, medium, heavy-duty external locking devices for keyless shaft/hub connections of shafts from 3/4" to 30" diameter.

  • Provide a high capacity interference fit with all the positive features of conventional interference fits, but eliminating their assembly and dismounting problems.
  • Offer extremely concentric and well-balanced connections, ideal for high-speed applications.
  • Permit simple axial and angular hub timing.
  • Are available in light, medium, and heavy-duty series to meet any requirement with just a single unit.
