Tapered Brass Pins:

Usage:

Securely holds bushings and wear strips in place

Advantages:

Drill and ream for installation
No tapping or countersinking required
Precise fit
No errors in head location
Holds material tight and flat

Benefits:

Reduced installation times over flat head screws

Will not come loose, causing gaps under material

Installation:

    1. Determine proper pin from chart
    2. Firmly seat bushing material in place
    3. Drill pilot hole using chart for reference
    4. Power ream hole with proper reamer
    5. Test fit pin until ~1/4" is left above surface of material
    6. Apply red locking adhesive to pin
    7. Drive pin in hole with hammer and dowel until it stops (this should swell the top of the pin, leaving enough material to grind off for a flush installation)
    8. Buff pin and/or finish hone the bushing to size
