Totus Tuus: our Summer VBS
Mark your calendars for Totus Tuus to be held June 10-15 at St. Mary. Our parishes' Summer School (VBS), Totus Tuus means "Totally Yours" and is a Catholic youth program facilitated by college students and seminarians from the Lincoln diocese, dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through teaching, evangelization, prayer, Eucharist, activities and fun. There are three programs:
- Age 4-Kindergarten, 9-11 AM Mon-Fri, $10 per student
- Entering 1st-8th grades, 9 AM-3 PM Mon-Fri. Bring a sack lunch. Cost for 1 student: $25, 2 students: $40, 3 or more: $50.
- Entering High School, 8-10 PM Sun-Thurs, $15 per student
To register in advance contact Tanya Keith, 402-944-2167, bghkeith@hotmail.com. Volunteers are also need to assist with preschool, provide cookies, lunches and dinners for the team members.

CCD, Preschool and Youth Group
Thank you to all who have faithfully attended CCD and Youth Group this year, and many more thanks to our teachers and helpers. The CCD School Year officially ends with Holy Day Mass on Wed. May 16, 7:00 PM. Everyone is invited to an Ice Cream Social which will take place after the Mass. There will also still be our last session of K4J on Wed. May 16, 7:00 PM. (Teacher Appreciation Dinner on Thurs. May 31st.)

Ascension Thursday is May 17, a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses are:

Graduation
To honor all the Senior Graduates from both of our two parishes, a special blessing will be given at Mass on Sun. May 6, 8:30 AM, and all are invited to join them with a Breakfast and awards following the Mass honoring them and their families, sponsored by the Knights and Altar Society. This Mass and Breakfast will also honor the First Communicants who will participate in the crowning of Mary.
The Ashland Ministerial Association will sponsor a Baccalaureate service for all of the Ashland-Greenwood graduating seniors on Fri. May 18, 7:00 PM, at the American Lutheran Church in Ashland. All are invited to come pray for our graduates, and a reception will follow.

Devotions: Joseph, Mary, and Mothers
Tues. May 1 is the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker. Join us to celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph with a 6:30 Mass at Greenwood, followed by Expoisiton, Evening Prayer, Benediction, and a light reception.
The month of May is dedicated to our heavenly mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. Please join us in praying the Rosary before Mass. A sign-up is available to lead the Rosary, and guides to praying the Rosary and extra rosaries are available.
May is also a month we honor our earthly mothers on Mother's Day. A sign-up sheet will be in the back of St. Mary to remember our living and deceased mothers. Please keep them in your prayers. An optional donation of $1 per name goes to support Saunders County Right to Life, which give prayer and support to different groups and events to provide pro-life education, political advocacy, public witness, counseling and material assistance for mothers in crisis.

Charity and Stewardship Appeal
The Bishop's Charity and Stewardship Appeal (DDP) will be held throughout May. This year's theme is The Year of Faith, a reminder of the gift of the faith we have been given. It is also the 125th anniversary of our Diocese of Lincoln. Please join in making a pledge for this annual Diocesan appeal which supports 17 different ministries and apostolates, as well as supporting our parishes. Thank you for your generosity.
