I have lived in Conyers, Georgia with my family all of my life until I was married. I married Andrew Maddox on November 10, 2003 in Maui Hawaii and now live in our own home.
I am the youngest child (childhood photos) of two older sisters who are both married with children. My father Ted is a systems engineer with Home Depot and is a loving father of three girls. My mother Joy runs a non-profit agency in Rockdale county that helps people in the Rockdale community in situations of crisis. My mother volunteers her time in several projects making a difference not only where she works, but also in her personal life with friends and family. My oldest sister Hope and middle sister Misty have blessed my parents with four precious grandchildren. I am a proud Aunt of fournephews Scott (age 11), Seth (age 5), Sean (age 2), Gavin (6 mo.) and a niece Summer (age 8).
In 1995, I graduated from Heritage High School of Rockdale county. I then attended Georgia Perimeter College for two years before transferring to Clayton College and State University. Between colleges I took a year off from school to pursue the opportunity to become a flight attendant for a private charter company, Piedmont Aviations in Winston Salem, North Carolina. I mostly flew for several of the professional sports teams from the east coast of the NHL and NBA leagues. I was based out of Atlanta flying mainly the Atlanta Hawks and Thrashers on the weekends while practicing dental hygienistry during the week. I graduated from CSU in May of 2002 and now work as a practicing dental hygienist. I plan to live in Georgia for my first year out of school and will then move out west to either Colorado, Oregon, or Montana.
