Clubmembers Tony Sergent and Richard Craft, Jr., aka "Big & Rich", returned to the same areas that had been productive in their win at Norris in the previous week to win the team competition for the 2008 Master's Casters Classic. This victory was third win of the season for the Big & Rich team but the story of the night was Tony Sergent's 15.87 pound bag that propeled him to the individual "Classic" win and allowed him to climb from 5th place entering the tournament to become the Master's Casters 2008 "Angler of the Year". Tony's winning five bass limit caught on a buzzbait easily outdistanced the field and turned what had been a very close "Angler of theYear" race into a comfortable win. Following Tony in the final Standings were Bill Rose with 39.01 pounds, Tracy Goff with 38.94 pounds, Richard Craft, Jr. with 36.92 pounds, Jody Goodson with 35.74 pounds, and Jeff Seals with 31.77 pounds. Tony's bag also included the big bass for the tournament which was a 4.63 pound largemouth. Another high light of the event was a club record 2.82 pound Kentucky bass caught on a buzzbait by clubmember Jody Goodson.
