Garret performed at the Bands of America Grand National Championship on the Colts field in Indianapolis, IN Nov. 13. The band had taken first place in all categories at the Ozarko Band Festival at MSU October 9 and first in their division at the Tri-State contest in Siloam Springs. Garret plays bass drum. Click here for the link to a video of their performance--you must have DSL to see. You may need to scroll on the page.
Grandma Sweetie has her new Christmas cooking range--it was being delivered as we spoke last week.
I heard both Thompson boys got their first deer this year...one got a small buck and the other got a doe.
Next Monday Grandpa Sweetie will be 79 and Jon Punch will be 34 on this Saturday and Michelle turned 31 last week and Adam turned 28. Getting older seems to be a popular November pastime.
Congratulations to Jon, Mary and Leah as they've announced that in May they'll be a family of four!
We're sharing Thanksgiving Dinner at the Shipley's on Saturday, Nov. 28.
Adam's graduation will be at noon on Friday, December 18. It is up in the air at the moment whether he will be there as his army reserve unit has a drill or something scheduled that is listed as mandatory. He is going up the chain of command to see if he can be excused to attend his graduation. Stay tuned.
