Parting out. 1964 MG - MGB Roadster / convertible. BRG (British Racing Green, possibly painted over red in parts). Aluminum hood in poor condition. Trunk (fair) with rack (decent). Car is mostly complete - a rolling chassis. But engine is removed and partially disassembled. Engine parts currently stored in the trunk. 4-speed non-OD (overdrive) transmission (SOLD). Rear axle $125. Body rough. Floors (interior and trunk) are rusty and/ or patched. Interior rough. Stored inside so interior not ruined by weather. Has all gauges except the combo oil-pressure / water-temp gauge. Dashboard $65 (empty ie without gauges) . Gauges sold separately: tachometer $35; speedometer $35; Distributor # 40897A 1063 (#s hard to read though) $35. Cylinder head $45. Carburetors $95. Radiator $50. Trunk rack $35. Tonneau cover $25. Parting it out. We bought it because we needed some spare parts for our other MGB. We're not trying to sell the complete car so we're not able to give you a price on what's left. If that's what you want - the rest of the car - you're welcome to make a strong offer on it. But, again, as we're not selling the car itself we've no incentive to respond to "How much for the whole car?" Which isn't whole anymore as some parts have been sold. The following parts have been SOLD: steering wheel, soft-top metal frame (bows); mechanical water-temp oil-pressure combination gauge; speaker console; oil cooler & hoses; transmission, flywheel. Again, parts in the previous list are sold. We're only parting this one car so none of the parts in this sold list are available. |
