1978 Olds Cutlass Salon bad motor $750

23000 original miles. Runs & drives but needs motor work. 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Aeroback/ Fastback Salon 2-door coupe / sedan. 260 V8, AT, 23K actual miles, original sticker, some service records. Low-production car - "Areo-style" coupes and sedans were produced 1978-80 only. Owned by one family from new. It was used infrequently after 1985 and had only 19000 miles in 2003 when it was transferred out of the original owner's estate. New tires; has a nice interior and a clean trunk. Needs a good cleanup after infrequent use by elderly owners. Body solid; has had some paint work; is mostly original. Was on the road as weekend driver until 2006. VIN 3G87F8M584454. Motor is OK at idle but has makes a knocking noise when RPMs increase. Sounds like a rod bearing or wrist pin. Have low-mile Olds 307 from an 86 that can be purchased with the car. Or the motor may be purchased separately $350.

1994 Ford Taurus/ Mercury Sable parts

Taurus/ Sable: Two 15" aluminum rims (slotted) with decent tires 205x65xr15 $30/ each, $45/ pair. These are stock factory rims from a 1994 Sable sedan so the bolt pattern is whatever the bolt pattern would be on a factory Mercury Sable/ Ford Taurus wheel. Don't have the center caps, sorry. Also Taurus exhaust - pipes and resonator good, muffler starting to rust, not including cats $40; and good fuel tank from the 94 Sable $25. No pump or sender. These parts - the alloy wheels, exhaust, and the fuel tank - are the only Taurus-Sable parts that I have left - the car body has been sold.
