The early years: Ever since I was born, I've been playing the piano and other instruments. Before college, I learned piano, organ, trumpet, and French horn.
Education: I earned a BM in Composition from BYU. Then I got an MM in Composition, also from BYU. I stopped there, and now I'm an actuary. How's that for using my major?
Awards: Governor's Honors Program - Composition (in high school); Mayhew Award - Composition (BYU); LDS Church Annual Music Submission - 2 time finalist.
Post-college Activities: Two and a half years with the Singing Christmas Tree in Charlotte.
Then one and a half years with the Charlotte Oratorio Singers.
In 2007, I composed two minutes worth of music for an animated movie. More details to come when the movie's released.
